Anyway, this week you lucky Corky fans get to read 'I'm the only
Gay Eskimo - The Blue Version'. Now, what you are about to read
departs somewhat from the original version of 'Gay Eskimo' that we
have all come to know and love. And, because of this, I'd like to
now issue a couple of warnings:
a) A content warning: The following is quite sexually explicit (and
I wouldn't have it any other way)
Bit o' background: This version was sung at 'Cheeseshop Live'
during the 1997 Melbourne International Comedy Festival by Corkies
and an assortment of other comedians. Whether you recognise these
comedians is irrelevant. Let's face it, we're all here to read about
Corky and the Juice Pigs. But, for the record, the other comedians
in question are brilliant in their own right. No, really, they are.
'The Only Gay Eskimo- The Blue Version' was televised on Channel
31 and I take no responsibility for how...um...intoxicated Phil,
Greg, Sean and all concerned were on the night this was taped.
and....
b) A health warning: Laughing too hard has been kown to make
people spontaniously combust.
