HELLO JUICE PIGS FANS!!

Thank you so much for your email regarding Corky and the Juice Pigs. You probably saw them on Mad TV and that's where you managed to get this address! By emailing us, your name and email address have been added to the email fan list, and we will email everyone with updates on product availability as well as any new MAD TV appearance dates. Most of the letters we receive are looking for more information on the Pigs, as well as inquiries about their CDs, videos, tour schedule, and so on, so we've tried to put together a letter that will give you everything you need...

As far as the Pigs themselves go, well, if you don’t know already… where have you been for the past few years? The first Pop-Culture Guerillas, Corky and The Juice Pigs have taken the world by storm, roaring through their homeland Canada, Britain, Australia and The United States appearing live, on television and radio.

They are absolute nutters, dynamic, outlandish, brilliantly irreverent. Their unique performance style encompasses music, sketch and inspired improvisation that will knock you dead and make you shriek with fear and laughter. The Juice Pigs take it to the extreme at blinding speed, pointing a fickle finger at just about every target imaginable.

In Canada, Corky and The Juice Pigs have appeared live from coast to coast. Their television appearances range from The Air Farce (CBC), MuchMusic Video Awards, Muchmusic's Snowjob '95, Just for Laughs Comedy Special (CBC), Friday Night with Ralph Benmergui (CBC), Labatt’s Crystal Comedy Comedy Pageant (Global), David Foster’s Sensations (CTV), Laughing Matters a CBC radio show, plus numerous other appearances on television and radio.

International acclaim has followed their every step garnering accolades from Britain, Australia, the United States and even Japan. They have been the hits at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Montreal’s International Just For Laughs Festival and Edinburgh's Festival Fringe. Their success in Britain has given rise to two half hour BBC Radio One specials, a nomination for the Perrier Pick of the Fringe ’93, The Jonathon Ross Show (Channel 4), The Best of the Fest (Scottish Television), they recently appeared on BBC TV's The Stand-Up Show & the Stand-UP Comedy Awards, plus the London Comedy Festivals, Glastonbury Music Festival and numerous other television, radio and live appearances.

Corky and The Juice Pigs have had similar success in the United States - recently they have been appearing on FOX's MAD TV, (first broadcast on April 5, 1997), plus appearances onCaroline’s Comedy Hour (Arts & Entertainment), Live from the Danger Zone (Showtime/Just For Laughs) and London Underground (Comedy Central).

Many of you have asked about web pages to find even more information on the Piggies. To our knowledge, there are at least a few unofficial web sites out there, but the only official one is the MAD TV page.

Another question that is frequently asked is "So who ARE these guys, and WHO is Corky?". The best way we've found to refer to them are as follows: the tall bald guy is Greg Neale, the guitar player is Phil Nichol, and the chubby one with the great facial expressions is Sean Cullen. As for Corky, well, that's for you to decide...

Corky and The Juice Pigs are currently on a hiatus, working on their solo careers after finishing a sold out run in their hometown of Toronto at Christmas. They were in Toronto recently, performing a small number of shows at a local theatre in preparation for the filming of a new television show in which they will be featured in their own half hour episode. The new CBC show, called SketchCom, will be aired in Canada only, and will feature some of the best sketch troupes this country has to offer. Many of you will be surprised to hear that the Pigs do so much sketch as well, since they only perform their songs on MAD TV - they're full of fun & hilarity! After that, it's back to hiatus status while the guys work on their solo stuff.

MAD TV has finished for this season, and is now airing repeats, so look out for surprise Juice Pigs appearances. You'll all be happy to know that MAD TV has also been renewed for another season, and we will let everyone know whether or not to expect the Juice Pigs to be appearing again. If you've loved them on the show, let the folks at MAD know (their email address is MadTvInfo@aol.com, and the web site where you can find them and when they will be appearing next is: www.madtvonfox.com).
